Altran, a strategic technology partner of IBM, attends Think 2019 as Gold Sponser to share highlights of our unique product transformation capabilities.
The four-day 2019 IBM Think conference concluded last week at the newly renovated Moscone Center in San Francisco. During the keynote entitled “Building Cognative Enterprises,” IBM CEO Ginni Rometty revealed three core areas for moving to the next step of digital transformation, citing the way businesses around the world have experimented with artificial intelligence (AI) and migrated to cloud in the last couple of years.
IBM Think is one of the largest events for cloud, internet of things (IoT), blockchain, quantum computing, AI, data analytics, and much more with a gathering of 30,000+ registered attendees from 100+ countries. The event showcased a slew of sessions and topics delving into real-world opportunities of humans and machines working together.
Unlike other conferences, the event featured specialized campuses where attendees could focus solely on one topic, network with technology experts and peers and, of course, get insights about a wide variety of topics within that sector to prepare for the future.
As a strategic partner of IBM, Altran is engaged in end-to-end product development of key IBM products, including product design and product support responsibilities. Our product transformation includes unique domain skills, execution, design thinking and business investment.
Altran was a Gold sponsor at THINK 2019. Under the theme ‘Engineering Designed for Tomorrow’ we demonstrated some of the IBM products that we own at our booth #518.
- Connect:Direct, IBM Control Center, IBM Secure Proxy and SEAS as part of B2B collaboration solution (Watson Supply Chain)
- IBM PowerHA SystemMirror for AIX, IBM PowerHA SystemMirror for Linux, VM Recovery Manager HA, VM Recovery Manager DR (GDR) as a part of resiliency and Business Continuity software in Power Systems
- IBM Control Desk (ICD), Tivoli Application Dependency Discovery Manager (TADDM) as ITSM and ITOM products
- Tivoli System Automation (TSA)
Our team of experts from Product Management, Design and R&D discussed these topics, gave demos and were engaged in various interesting design sessions at the event. We were also joined by representatives from our design arm, frog, who shared demos on cutting edge customer experience design.
In 2020, IBM Think will be held in San Francisco from May 4 – 7. In addition to tracking new developments in data and AI analytics in 2019, we are optimistic to get more insights in emerging technologies and processes that are expected to play a bigger part in AI, analytics and data management in 2020.
